Leaking from all sides. Flooding the entire place.
Tried reinforcing sealing with silicone, but does not work.
The piece is defective from Day 1, please arrange return and replacement/ refund. Or advise on next steps.

Product supplied on 25th APR. There is no return/exchange as you are reporting the issue nearly after 4 months sir.
You should have reported the issue once you notice the issue in the beginning as this Sunsun doesn’t have any brand or importer warranty

If it’s leaking from all side means
1. Please check the trays are aligned properly
2. Check the Square ring on top and make sure it’s getting seated properly on the edges of filter body below filter head
3. Check the round rubber which is on filter head inlet and make sure it’s getting seated properly on top filter tray round output

Decent filter .. media trays are bit small they should’ve gone with 3 trays instead of 5.
Initially it was sucking in air and was very noisy. I just tightened the screws and now it ultra quite.
I guess screws came loose in transportation.

HBL 803 is Great.. Especially due to its results on goldfish tanks, it sucks water as per its claims, but on otherhand do not let fishes loose there beyonce or do not pull them towards Inlet nozzle… Filter is a wonderful, Media and operating is in our hands.. so i give full 5 stars… Go for it..

Excellent filter. purchased to replace my slim hangon filter as i wanted more water flow in my heavily planted 65 ltr dirt tank. 6 separate containers to add own filter media. Using with top layer coarse sponge, 2 layers fine felt (supplied), 2 layers X-Lone Filter Media, and bottom layer ceramic rings.
Excellent flow, was able to, in a few hours remove all floating debris. nice water circulation.

No, we are using the same in some of our customers tank. No issue at all. Flow is pretty good.
Check for air trap which is common issue in these type of HOB models or could be due to overloading of media
